I think that here is a great place for the Frieza Saga to begin. Everyone bar Goku have landed on Namek and the race for the Dragonball’s have begun. For me, this point in the Dragonball Z series is very exciting, our heroes are outnumbered and overpowered, will brains triumph over bronze?

I love this part within the story because, you will notice that Gohan and Krillin will hide A LOT, sneak around, and generally trying to avoid EVERYONE and stay out of harms way… this gets turned on its head (with a few plot twists along the way) in the near future…

Thanks for all the new followers, just happy that you guys are enjoying revisiting the Dragonball Universe as much as I am! 

This episode finishes off with our very first look at King Frieza. King Frieza seems to be very powerful, having two henchmen to carry Dragonballs. Even Vegeta is scared of what Frieza is capable of…

Once Krillian and Gohan see one Saiyan ship, possibly belonging to Vegeta, a second Saiyan ship lands on Namek… Namek is now probably the most dangerous place in the known galaxy…

Shortly after landing on Namek, Gohan and Krillin sense a powerful force coming towards them… and wouldn’t you know it? Its a Saiyan ship…

34 days later, and 4 days behind schedule, our heroes land on Namek. Bulma, being very careful and checking the oxygen of the atmosphere, just to ensure it is safe to open the ship, while Gohan and Krillin are both standing outside! Brilliant Dragonball humour :)

Just in time, our heroes escape the planet and continue their trip towards Planet Namek!

Krillin and Gohan catch up to Bulma in seconds and make VERY short work of the two aliens. Job done. Time to get off this dirty rock of a planet.

Gohan and Krillin grasp hands and use their Ki to create a whirlpool. The force of the Ki throws away the snails and they are quickly free and out of the water! Now for the two aliens that royal screwed them over!

Gohan and Krillin both get their way free of the snail’s grasps.

They both leave Bluma, Gohan and Krillin and run to their spaceship. However, when they get to the ship they discover one problem… they cannot work the thing….
